Kirby&JT

So Kirby and JT are one of those couples that you can’t be around without laughing, they are always joking around and having fun and generally enjoying life and it’s contagious. You meet them and you’re like “oh yeah, we definitely need to be friends”. JT also has amazing little boy named Marley that I’m sort of nuts about and the three of them together is just perfection (add in an adorable pup and a feisty cat that is camera shy and you have the perfect little family:). Also Kirby is a photographer herself and I have a feeling she’s really going to go far with it, I’m so excited to see how she continues to grow in her art.

Renee & Dylan /Carmel by the Sea, California

“My son has loved Renee since the day he was born.” Those words were spoken by Dylan’s mother during her toast at the wedding reception. Hearing those words Renee snuggled closer to Dylan and he kissed her forehead and I teared up for the second time that day (the first was seeing Dylan’s reaction while he watched his bride approaching.) Their wedding was held at La Playa Hotel in Carmel by the Sea, California, it was a beautiful place for a beautiful wedding of two people beautifully in love. Dylan and Renee are so incredibly in love, in a way that is apparent in how they look at each other, how they don’t want to leave the others side, how he holds his hand on her back when standing next to her and the way that every single person at the wedding was deeply touched by their love.  Renee is kind and bubbly and welcoming, she’s someone who is incredibly down to earth and you feel like you’re best friends immediately. And Dylan is sincere and thoughtful and considerate and most importantly loves Renee in a way that every girl deserves to be loved. And they are both pretty easy on the eyes which goes without saying. :)

Lindsey+Lincoln

I’m always getting my cart before my chicken, or horse, or whatever and this blog post is no exception. I posted Lindsey and Lincoln’s wedding day blog  last summer and my most recent blog post had some of Lindsey’s gorgeous bridals and now I’m posting the engagement photo’s. Slightly backwards but here they are nonetheless. :) I met up with this awesome couple at the Baylor University Theatre since they both were in theatre in college (and actually met during their time there) and are talented thespians (not a word I get to use often, love it!). I remember that shortly after I arrived it started POURING rain so I was like “well glad we’re shooting inside!” and that wasn’t the only reason, I was met with a stunning theatre, awesome prop rooms and really tricky but fun lighting situations that allowed me to really stretch myself and try some different things. Then the clouds parted and the rain stopped and we ventured outside as well, so pretty much a perfect session. :) Love these two and I’m so happy I was able to be a part of so many special memories.
