One of the things I love about photographing weddings is that I get to be there for all the fun, sometimes stressful, and never dull behind the scenes moments. I have been around for the “getting ready” about a million times, but because of the brides excitement, it makes it new for me all over again. Sometimes it’s more stress than glee, but there…hiding under the surface of her perfectly coiffed hair and glossy lips is the humming excitement of her wedding day, a day that she has prepared for and dreamed about and it’s finally arrived. Ashleigh looked absolutely, positively, incredibly stunning. I loved watching her transform from a beautiful woman to a beautiful bride. She looks pretty fierce in that dress too, seriously.
