There’s something about people from the south, I just feel like we are kindrid spirits and even though I have never had the joy of visiting Kentucky (it’s definitely on my list) I knew right away without even asking where she was from that Brittany was a southern girl. She was sweet, sincere, kind, and warm hearted. Spending the day with her, her warm family, and her attentive loving man was truly a joy. And look at these two, wowza. And Brittany you are a stunna girl, amazing. :)
When I first spoke with Sarah on the phone she began to tell me about her and her husband Richard, and their first wedding 5 years before and how it was beautiful and special but small and not necessarily the wedding she had dreamed of. And she began to tell me how they were now, 5 years and three beautiful kids later, planning the wedding of their dreams. Then she said something so wonderful, she said “I was so in love with him when we got married, but now somehow I am even more in love with him” and I was hooked. I had to shoot this wedding and help document not only the wedding of their dreams but the reaffirmation of a deep lasting love.
1 is a pretty big birthday, I don’t think Ariana has a clue that it’s quite a big deal but she seems very content with the fact that she has already been able to eat cupcakes or cake on numerous occasions recently. Ari has red hair like her aunt Avery. And apparently my hair is not the only thing she has, turns out I was quite stubborn as a baby according to my parents (why I never!) and Ari seems to be a little like her aunt Avery in that respect too. But she also has the best smile ever and she’ll hug you and cling to you in a way that makes your heart melt. She is smart and watches you closely, you can tell she’s paying attention and will definitely be remembering whatever it is that you do or say. She is our sweet muffin, cupcake, bittie and she has our whole family wrapped around her dimpled little finger.
